Bug? Calendar does not show up anymore

Hey there,

after working perfectly fine for a while, the waste calendar doesn't show up anymore. The sensors still work as expected, the Calendar menu item (on the left) is still there, but the calendar is empty:

Is my configuration wrong? Or is it a bug? How can I debug this further?

This is odd, if the sensors work, there should be an calendar, do you see an calendar entity in your device settings?

Is there anything in your logs? (settings -> system -> logs (protokoll))

maybe try restarting HA or if you have a broken WCS installation (seems to happen sometimes when updating using HACS) try uninstalling and reinstalling WCS

I've reinstalled WCS and the problem is still the same. Now I've checked the logs and found this error, which I cannot interpret...

What does that mean?

Since I'm running Home Assistant natively on raspberry pi I cannot access the terminal as you described. I need to find out how to access the terminal first, I guess that will take a while 😅 . Up until now, I only access Home Assistant via the web UI

I will release version 2.2.0 shortly, which should force HA to update to the new version of icalevents

Alright, so... 2.2.0 fixed the parse error and the sensors are working fine again. Thanks for that.

But the calendar was still not working. I then rechecked the entities again and then found out, that the calendar was marked as "hidden" in the settings of the entity. I don't know why or what changed this setting (maybe it was me by mistake), but after changing this setting to visible, the calendar is working fine again.
