Issue to reopen, since it still uses the See http://docs.geoserver.org/latest/en/user/services/wms/basics.html#differences-between-wms-versions for the major differences. |

Two possible way:
use
VESRIONin thecustomParamsNow the custom params will override the default params.use the version directly in the layer, this will be used by GeoExt
I also remove tabs and end white space (=> see commits individually...)
