This replaces the current spinner icon with something a bit less outdated and more visually pleasing (at least in my opinion).

Huh, I had no idea there were so many spinner PRs. Make sure to update InlineSpinner's CSS as well.

As far as I can tell, there isn't anything I would need to change there. Am I missing something?

Oh nevermind, I forgot that InlineSpinner now reuses the Spinner class

I agree this is much better than what we have. I'd just like to explore some changes.

The linear animation feels a bit mechanical, for example, when compared to the spinner in Cinny, for example:

Agreed! Personally, I like mechanical but that's just my personal preference :D Should I try to play with the animation or should I leave it up to you?

I don't think I'll have the chance to focus on the animation for a while and I don't want to block this much longer. It's definitely better. I'll make some (hopefully) simple/minor requested changes in a review.

  • Add a background to the circle
  • Ideally reduce the amount of circle that's spinning

We can leave animation aside for this issue, as it's about the look.

  • On the sign-in page, it's in a strange position but I don't think that's anything to do with your files? Would be great if possible to double check what's happened there.
