./generate-certificates.sh ssl

copy keystores in applications

./setup-certificates.sh ssl/server.jks ssl/client.jks

run application in one way ssl (server validation on client side)

mvn spring-boot:run -f ssl-server/pom.xml

mvn spring-boot:run -f ssl-client/pom.xml

run application in two ways ssl (mutual validation)

mvn spring-boot:run -f ssl-server/pom.xml -Ptwoways

mvn spring-boot:run -f ssl-client/pom.xml -Ptwoways

start request

curl http://localhost:8080/ping

tips

to show the full handshake it is possible to add -Dspring-boot.run.jvmArguments="-Djavax.net.debug=ssl" in the start command line
