Do this on a new computer

1. Create a file in ~ called .extra

My ~/.extra looks something like this:

GIT_COMMITTER_NAME="$GIT_AUTHOR_NAME"
git config --global user.name "$GIT_AUTHOR_NAME"

GIT_COMMITTER_EMAIL="$GIT_AUTHOR_EMAIL"
git config --global user.email "$GIT_AUTHOR_EMAIL"

2. Copy all the files to your machine and run bootstrap.sh

Your computer will prompt you to download the Xcode Command Line Tools: do it. Then run the command again. This copies your repository to ~/dotfiles and then run bootstrap.sh. When ran, it will sync the local repo and the one on GitHub, then copy those files to your home folder, overriding any existing files if they exist.

3. Copy paste the snippets in setup-a-new-mac line by line

4. Run .osx

source .osx

5. Configure your GIT

Generate SSH-keys

6. Import all alfred-preferences
