Description of the new feature / enhancement

Currently, Find My Mouse does not get captured in screen recordings. I would appreciate it if it did show up in screen recordings. I can see how someone might not want the screen to darken during a screen recording even when they are using it to find the mouse, so it could be an option to make it optional instead of default, although default would seem reasonable as well. This feature would pair well with other requests such as opacity settings.

Scenario when this would be used?

Often when I am screen recording, it is to highlight something, usually for developer feedback, so the option to have it show up could be helpful. I had assumed the expected behavior would be for it to do this in the same way that people use Find My Mouse for highlighting things in presentations or desktop sharing in meetings.

Are you recording the full screen or a single application?

See this for info: #14100 (comment)

@franky920920 You know what, it is single-application screen recording since I'm using Xbox Game Bar, and it only records the in-focus window. I have no application to record fullscreen, so I can't test that out. I would assume this would fall right under #14100 then.

@JacksonCampbell99 I'd say you will have to find a full-screen recorder to archive this because we don't control how xbox gamebar works :)

if you are recording a single app, nothing we can do about this i believe. the entire idea for limiting the recording to a single app is to prevent accidently showing something.

@crutkas Could be. Of course, things like #14100 when trying to share a single window on Zoom or Xbox would not fall into that category. Most people in my meetings use the mouse to draw attention to specific things and areas.
The reason I'm limited to a single app is because my only ability to screen record is Xbox Game Bar which only allows recording an individual app.
