Hello everyone!

ThunderStats was first released in July 2015, which was nearly nine years ago!
Due to all the structural modifications Thunderbird underwent starting in 2018, development on this addon was halted in 2019.
The last version was compatible with Thunderbird 73 (thanks to the work of Christopher).

Now, starting with version 128, to be released in the first half of July, Thunderbird is implementing the features necessary for ThunderStats to do its job again!

I'm rewriting the addon from scratch, utilizing new technologies that have become available over the years.

I aim to meet the July deadline; however, I will post general updates here as comments. Follow this issue to be notified.

A month has passed!
The work is progressing steadily.
All the statistical calculations are done:

• Today Tab #199
• Yesterday Tab #200
• Many Days Tab #201
• Custom Query Tab #202

Now I’m also working on usability refinement, some bug fixes, and the graphics.

In the first half of July, Thunderbird 128 will be released.
After the Thunderbird 128 release, my objective is to start publishing some pre-release versions here on GitHub for testing, aiming to finalize version 2.0 by the end of July.

I even changed the title of this issue to “ThunderStats is coming back” because we’re almost there!

Also, new ideas are flowing for the next releases!
