Support for non Darwin platforms

Without diving too deep in the current offerings, is there anyway to support other platforms like Linux / windows without being coupled to the terminal client? Like support the rendering logic?

I see some tightly couple logic with coretext for example, and was wondering if the layout rendering engine could be used on Linux without having to build a terminal ui application binary

On a fresh clone on linux + swift build, the Apple/CaretView inside of the SwiftTerm dependency fails to compile because it can't find CoreText
