Final Project Presentation Guidelines

Your final project is a 2-week assignment to be completed in two stages (proposal and implementation). Proposals presentations will be on Wed, April 13.

The final project should be a creative project that builds off of or is inspired by the concepts we've covered this semester. You should feel free to think non-traditionally, final projects do not need to be screen-based or even involve programming.

Guidelines for the Proposal

  • Concepts from the syllabus you want to work with?
  • Code you'd like to start with?
  • Sources of inspiration?
  • Content + Assets? Drawings, Images, Video, Sound, Text, Data Sources?
  • Questions for the class?

    • Who's it for? What's it for?
    • What's the context? (e.g. gallery, personal laptop, on your phone on the subway)
  • Technical stuff
    • How does it work?
    • Concepts from the course you worked with.
  • Demo
    • Demo the code, show your tangible object, depending on the medium of your project.
    • Visual documentation -- drawings, videos, images, code sketches, etc
