This folder contains unconnected recording (i.e. not attached to a patient) with the Neuralynx acquisition system. (Relates to this WIP PR on the MNE repo: mne-tools/mne-python#11969).

The recording is about 3 seconds long and by default it contains:

  • 10 *.ncs files/channels (continuously sampled signals)
  • 10 *.nse files/channels (spike snapshot files; likely empty since the recording is disconnected and no spikes would be detected by the algorithm)
  • 1 *.nev file (events file)

The entire folder is about 0.5MB. That said, it contains 10 channels by default and that can be reduced further if size constraints apply.
