Maven Wrapper looks like it will be part of the next maven version so adding in now so people can get use to it.
For those unaware mvnw is a wrapper script that will download the configured version of maven and use that, instead of relying upon the user/system configured version.
For project that are occasionally built, or have lots of infrequent users/contributes, I find it very useful so everyone building the project is using the same maven version.
