Limelight PC v0.3 (Alpha)
Pre-releasePlease report any broken functionality.
Use Ctrl+Alt+Shift+Q to quit the stream. Holding Ctrl+Alt+Shift releases the mouse from the window.
If you've started a stream from another device, you will probably have to terminate it manually on the PC or end it from the device you started it with before you can start a new one to a different device.
If you're running 64-bit Windows, you'll want to get the JAR that corresponds to the architecture of the JRE you're running which might not match architecture of your Windows installation. I'd suggest trying the win32 version unless you explicitly remember installing a 64-bit JRE. An error message will appear telling you the proper JAR to download if you pick the wrong one.
For those running Windows Defender or Microsoft Security Essentials, some recent virus definitions falsely detect some included DLLs. Updating your virus definitions should resolve this issue.
Users running Windows XP must install the DirectX End-User Runtime before running Limelight. It can be found at http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35
Fixes:
Random image corruption causing artifacts and glitching is fixed (the remaining artifacts are in the GameStream video data itself)
Logs are now placed in the limelight directory instead of the current directory
Renderer performance is improved at higher frame rates
Windows users without existing gamepad settings default to using the XInput mapping
Memory leak when quitting streams is fixed
Known issues:
Controller support on OS X may not work
Keyboard and mouse input may not work on OS X in full screen mode (workaround: disable full-screen in Options -> Preferences menu)
