Obviously unit tests run too slow with a Debug build. I suggest to only enable assertions, but keep optimization. #33 is a replacement PR addressing this. |

Same as #15. I couldn't squash all of my commits in that branch because they were interleaved with some of Dave's (maybe there is a way to do that though).
