[Affected versions]:

  • Firefox 57.0.4 and up
  • Screenshots v19.2.0 and v28.0.0

[Affected Platforms]:

  • All Windows
  • All Mac OS
  • All Linux

[Steps to reproduce]:

  1. Open Firefox browser and navigate to any website.
  2. Right click on the page and select "Take a Screenshot" option from the context menu.
  3. Perform a selection and scroll to left/right using the middle click.
  4. Observe the screenshots overlay area.

[Expected result]:

  • The semitransparent overlay covers the entire page except the selected area.

[Actual result]:

  • The semitransparent overlay is broken, uncovering certain areas of the page.
