fmWorkMate v1.8.2.20230331

Several changes, above all

• fmTextDiff and fmCheckMate have been pepped up to interact with each other better, and are now considered v1 releases :D
  • Use ⌘7 to add the current XML or text to fmTextDiff, which automatically creates new diffs as necessary
• fmCheckMate's Layout analysis functionality has been improved - particularly helpful is
  • The layout image to visually locate the object works again, and blinks for a second to make it easier to see.
  • You can now copy and paste a useful rectangle into the layout to help locate the broken object
  • …and fmCheckmate's Location Rectangle corrected to work with fractional pixels! :D
• fmSetupAssistant has moved out to its own fmSetupAssistant repository

The fmWorkMate toolbox has itself had a few tweaks:

[BREAKING NEWS - Issue with Ventura + fmWorkMate.zip]

If you have Ventura, or have problems opening fmWorkMate files (error 100 File Missing or security messages), please download the Source Code.zip file rather than the extra zip file which contains the pretty icons

Ventura seems to condemn files with custom icons to being considered a security issue, since they have been 'tampered with' by an unidentified developer - me.

This is the very first open source GitHub release of fmWorkMate (including pretty file icons for Mac users)

fmWorkMate has been getting a lot of development recently, getting it up to speed for its premiere on the FileMaker Training YouTube channel
