This is a simple utility to listen for BLE broadcasts from Xiaomi hygrothermograph sensors (as pictured below) and push their results to InfluxDB.
Since the devices broadcast data freely, there is no need to pair them.
This is designed to and known to work on a Raspberry Pi Zero W.
config.example.json
contains my own (@msh100) config.json
.
The config.json
file consists of a few keys:
Key | Value |
---|---|
InfluxDB |
The URL to your InfluxDB database. |
Devices |
An array of device IDs with human readable names. |
PostUnknown |
(bool) Should metrics be posted if they're not defined in Devices ? |
It is recommended that you set PostUnknown
to false.
If you have new devices to add, simply attach the batteries and watch the log to determine the hardware ID of the new device to put into your configuration.
