- From the Data List press Add Data in the bottom left corner of the app.
- Stand next to the tree and press Get Location. Enter the rest of the observation data and press Save.
- The data will appear in the Data List. Tap the timestamp to expand the observation details. From here the observation can be edited or deleted.
- When you would like to save your data, go to the Save Data screen by pressing the button in the bottom right corner of the app.
- Press "Save Current Data to File" to save the data to local storage.
Local storage should persist as long as the app is installed and your phone does not spontaneously combust (or otherwise become inoperable). That being said, having your data backed up somewhere else is almost certainly never a bad idea. Saved Files can be shared to any app on your phone that accepts files. To do this, tap a file in the Saved Files list and press the Share button (right arrow icon).
