Welcome to the plasticRecyclr wiki!

Current state:

  • Filament Maker

  • Tested the nichrome wire. Didn't burn and got pretty hot. We still need some measurements.

  • "Pellet" Maker

Todo:

  • Temperature measurements
  • Find the best spot to put the nichrome wire (on the extrusion nozzle/the container/both) and find the best way to wrap it around
  • Start experiments with the pellet/ maker part
  • Plastic: melting vs shattering
