Power BI Dashboard

The data is loaded and transformed in the Power Query Editor. The data models are configured in the Model View, then table features and calculations are added in the Data View. Finally, visuals and reports are designed in the Report View to complete the dashboard.

Project Overview

The AdentureWorks requirement is to track KPIs (sales, revenue, profit, returns) that compare regional performance, analyze product-level trends, and identify high-value customers.

Skills Covered

1. Connecting and Shaping Data:
   • Connecting to data, shaping & transforming tables, using profiling tools, editing, merging & appending queries, etc.
2. Creating a Data Model:
   • Building relational models, creating table relationships, understanding cardinality and filter flow, etc.
3. Calculating Measures with DAX:
   • Understanding DAX syntax, adding calculated columns and measures, writing standard formulas and functions, etc.
4. Visualizing Data with Dashboards:
