Community CCB Agenda: July 22 2020
The topic below was discussed 12:00-12:30. Community would like to also receive status report on changes to v7.0. A monthly review or written report for stakeholders should summarize the changes/fixes made in the pervious period. Status could be written; steering and priorities discussions should be in a meeting. Consider a theme for each month, where tickets on a particular topic are bundled.
- CCB Cadence Change Proposal: There is a desire to make this as useful as possible for everyone involved. Thanks to @skliper for the ideas
- Daily-ish: Developers and stakeholders review and comment on pull requests on GitHub
- Weeky-ish+: Developer-focused meeting for targeted live code review and design discussions. Invite stakeholders as necessary.
- Monthly: Stakeholder Meeting to Discuss all code changes at a high level.
- Quarterly: Wider community meeting to discuss the 5 things resolved, next 5 immediate tasks, and top five big items
- Communicating Progress:
- Regular newsletter with issues resolved and other announcements
- What is a good cadence for this?
- What content would you like to see?
-

- What other features should go into it?
- Should we put new things into the D-Constellation?
From Jake: supporting the header customization; removing the deprecated code to make it a clean certification product; rearrange command and telemetry packets to support consistent layout of commands and telemetry; continue functional test updates including high quality functional testing of APIs; continue documentation cleanup and completion; possibly convert cFE config options; continue to address any discovered bugs.
