JOSS Paper - Table:

  • Adds SEDI
  • Adds spatial category (At @tennlee's request, I included the wording "Scores that take into account spatial structure.")

@nicholasloveday can you please review?

@tennlee and @nicholasloveday - now that both SEDI & the spatial category have been added, the table is longer. Do any scores need removing, or is the table fine as is? (I don't have an opinion, and will happily follow you both on this).

Happy with that addition.

The bib citation (if you want to add it) is

@Article{Ferro_2011, title={Extremal Dependence Indices: Improved Verification Measures for Deterministic Forecasts of Rare Binary Events}, volume={26}, ISSN={1520-0434}, url={http://dx.doi.org/10.1175/waf-d-10-05030.1}, DOI={10.1175/waf-d-10-05030.1}, number={5}, journal={Weather and Forecasting}, publisher={American Meteorological Society}, author={Ferro, Christopher A. T. and Stephenson, David B.}, year={2011}, month=oct, pages={699–713} }

Drats. I totally forgot to add the citation! My bad, I'll fix that :-)

I forgot to add the citations for both SEDI and FSS... Oh well, I'll sort that out!

I have now included references for both FSS and SEDI (thanks for @nicholasloveday for noticing that hadn't been included). After a small tweak to the original bibtex, I think the references are now rendering properly both in-text and in the references section.

Below is a PDF of how it is currently rendering:
