API seems to support groups (?) (comment from #494

Anyone wants to implement this? Required knowledge: little backbone and reading php/webdav code

My customer has three user groups (i.e. admin, staff, visitors) and they use tags in combination with the file access control app, to conditionally allow/restrict access to files and folders. The problem is that, since the restricted tags do not yet support user groups, staff cannot assign any tags and an administrator needs to do this each time on their behalf. This significantly reduces working efficiency and speed. It would be great if this feature were implemented.

This feature would be great to have. It would make the workflow in a larger multiuser Nextcloud much, much easier 👍 What can be done to get this going? I think my PHP skills are not good enough, somebody who is motivated :).

I approve. It would be necessary to use with Retention plugin.
Thanks a lot
