sync issues #1
Comments
Hey! Thanks for testing out the project. Yes, you can have sync issues if you don't match the frequency that the monitor operates. However, as silly as it may sound, as we know that the TVs have auto sync and arcade CRTs don't, it's valid to ask: Have you tried a known working resolution, such as the 384x224 (capcom) or 320x224 (sega), and adjust the sync pot on the monitor? If you didn't, please try... I have tested this project on different monitors that I have, including Wells Gardner, Nanao and EAGO, they are able to sync to 224p and 240p, but always with a "touch" on the sync knobs, vsize, hzise, etc ... One last thing to note is that the pulse sync on arcade monitors are negative, so if you create a custom resolution, remember to set both vsync and hsync to negative. |
hi nino, thanks for your answer.
