@mikeal should we pull someone in to represent the website team for this?

@srl295 part of the TC meeting this week for io.js was about ICU. The current releases @ https://iojs.org/ are built without ICU, unlike the latest joyent/node 0.11 build. There's lots of questions about Intl and binary size and the options available and the TC was wondering if you wouldn't mind joining it for the next meeting on the 28th (see above) so they can get a bit more informed about the possible ways forward?

@rvagg actually I am putting together some docs on ICU packaging with sizing and bundling options, I need to get all of the options sorted out. Let me do that, circulate it, and see if it is helpful.

Don't think I'll be able to make it. I'll be in transit driving across states to my new house.

@srl295 any chance of scheduling an appearance for you in the next TC meeting, this week, on Wednesday 7pm UTC?

@rvagg I can't make this week (and next is NodeSummit..) but I updated the node Intl FAQ with some of the build options compared, size wise.
