to output the complete dependency tree that includes the transitive dependencies brought in by extraneous packages; details in #576.What / Why
Current
npm ls
truncates the dependencies from extraneous modules, which can provide useful information regarding software packaging hygiene. It would be great fornpm ls
to reveal everything it can find on disc.Full story in #576
