‘thymus subunit’, which has no text definition but which is logically defined as an ‘organ subunit’ that is part of some ‘thyroid gland’, and which has a related synonym of “lobe or lobule of thymus”, seems redundant with ‘thymus lobe’ (“either of the two lateral lobes that constitute the thymus”).

It is, therefore, proposed to obsolete ‘thymus subunit’, merge it into ‘thymus lobe’, and add a “thymus subunit” exact synonym to the latter.

Hey ontobot, apply:

  • obsolete UBERON:0035075 with replacement UBERON:0005483
  • create exact synonym "thymus subunit" for UBERON:0005483

Obsolete 'thymus subunit'.

The term 'thymus subunit' is redundant with 'thymus lobe', so we
obsolete it and replace it with 'thymus lobe'.
