- A new more simple method for GEM upgrade and installations added. No separated ZIP files anymore!
- Now Toolbox's files can be kept on any desired drive, no matter SD card or USB flashdrive
- Compatible now to use one Toolbox drive on several cars. Dumps and backups will be stored in separate folders per unit
- Copy screenshots from any connected drive to Toolbox drive
- Run custom script from SD/USB

- Redone utility scripts
- Rearranged the main menu to make it more intuitive
- Renaming of the repository and the whole toolbox to fit the supported units and hopefully have less irritation
- Speedup of several scripts

Readme.md
How to install Toolbox on units with GEM 3.4/3.5? (firmwares 01xx/02xx)
Replace cpu
folder in the root of the SD card with cpu
folder from \toolbox\gem
and install via Service Mode the same as described in Readme!
v0.6.4 Another GEM update bugfix and also some small overall bugfixing
Thanks to @bri3d we have another bugfix for the GEM update to maybe finally have it working for all of you out there.
Some back story: It seems that SD cards partitioned on Mac OS X will show up slightly different inside the filesystem of the units compared to Windows partitioned SD cards.... so far we only checked for the Windows SD cards. That will most likely solve the problem that some guys aren't able to update the GEm so far.
Please use the atteched v0.6.3 GEM update package now it will also take care for OS X SD cards.
ONLY USE GEM UPDATE IF YOU HAVE AN OLD GEM BELOW GEM 4.
Additional bugfixes:
- Bugfix on the backup utility for single file backups
- Bugfix on the skin restore function. SD is now mounted 😬
v0.5.1 New alternative installation for units with GEM 3.5
This is a small release which only adds a seperated installer package for older firmwares to update the GEM and make it possible to install and run the toolbox on this firmwares.
If you have a unit with GEM 4.1 or higher just download and use the attached ZIP without update.
If you have an old unit/firmware with GEM 3.5 then please download the ZIP with GEM update. This is the only way you can successfully install and run the toolbox on your old firmware.
Please notice that this update will replace your GEM with a much newer one. This process will take more time than usual. The update can take up to 5 minutes. If you only see your bootscreen for a longer period of time please just wait. This behaviour is normal. After installation your bootup times will be back to normal.
v0.6.2 GEM update package fix
In the previous version we still had the old startup file in it... my bad.
Now it is fixed and the startup will check for the correct SD card to mount and should be able to install the GEM, even if there are more SD cards in the unit.
There are no other changes in this release. Changelog for v0.6 can be found in the corresponding releasenote.
v0.6 New structure and features added
This version has some major changes in the structure!
Service Menu
-> Software Update
like you've done this in the first place. Don't use the update feature within the toolbox! After installation you will see the install screen again. Run the installtion on it again. It will automatically cleanup all old path from previous versions and install the newest version.
If you are installting the toolbox the first time you're just good to go if you follow the readme.
Changes:
- Scripts now installed in factory path
- Added custom GreenMenu & scripts installer screen
- Added MIB info screen
- Added adaptations screen with some sub menus
- Added network screen
- Added update screen
- Changed every script and menu to fit the new path
- Installer checks for scripts in old path and removes them
If you're running an old GEM below 4.1 then download the dedicated ZIP in this release to also update your GEM to a newer version and be able to use the toolbox.
v0.5 Pre-release version for the MIB2STD Toolbox
Initial pre-release SD install package of the toolbox.
Basic functions are ported from the MIB2 High toolbox and are working.
Testing is appreciated.
v0.5 Release version. First public release of MIB2STD Toolbox
This is the first public release of this toolbox. Bare in mind that this is still early stages and maybe not everything is working fine.
Please open up issues if you find something.
Carefully read the readme and what is written in the GreenMenu screens to understand how everything is working.
All current possibillities are listed in the readme.
