Java Jottings

Java Jottings is a project for documenting and sharing useful Java programming tips, tricks, and insights. The project uses JBake to build and generate static HTML from MARKDOWN pages that can be easily hosted on any web server.

Getting Started

To get started with Java Jottings, you can either clone the repository or download the source code directly from GitHub. Once you have the source code, you can use JBake to build the project and generate the HTML pages.

Prerequisites

To build Java Jottings, you will need the following tools installed on your system:

  • Java Development Kit (JDK) 8 or later
  • JBake

Building the Project

To build Java Jottings, follow these steps:

  1. Open a terminal or command prompt.

  2. Navigate to the src directory of the project.

  3. Run the following command to build the project:

    jbake -b
  4. After the build process completes, the generated HTML files will be located in the output directory.
