onurkerimov/README.md

Hi there, I'm Onur Kerimov 👋

I'm currently looking for a job in the US and the EU area. See my CV here.

I love designing neat APIs that care for developer experience. I love open source and I've contributed to popular open source projects such as Stitches and react-date-range.

I'm the creator of xoid ( repo ↗︎ / npm ↗︎ / website ↗︎ / opencollective ↗︎ ), a framework-agnostic state management library. It unifies global state, local component state, finite state machines, and observable streams in a single, easy-to-learn API. React has a special place in the project's spirit. xoid's secondary aim is bringing particularly to React the modern reactivity patterns.

Other projects

  • animate-code - A React component to animate code snippets using PrismJS and @formkit/auto-animate
  • xoidrag - A customizable and modular drag-and-drop library
  • boxoid - A more potent alternative to styled functions
  • itches - A tool for theming with CSS4 variables
  • @xoid/feature - A typesafe plugin system oriented in ES6 classes
  • decorations-vscode-extension - An experimental extension to replace JS keywords with symbols

    1
This is my take on building a parser combinator library API in JavaScript.
    2
This library would have a very low surface area, and would be easy to learn for those who already know already know regex.
    3

    4
Parser combinators often create their own DSL (domain-specific language) to provide a less verbose way of declaring parsers.
    5
These DSLs have to support operators for things such as **repetition, alternation, optionality, lookahead**, and more.
