  • I have read the note above about PRs contributing or fixing extensions
  • I have tried reaching out to the extension maintainers about publishing this extension to Open VSX (if not, please create an issue in the extension's repo using this template).
  • This extension has an OSI-approved OSS license (we don't accept proprietary extensions in this repository)

Hi @sevetseh28 and thanks for the upstream issue and PR. It looks like https://github.com/BCNelson/vscode-tap-harness is currently missing a license and without it, we can't release it from this repository. Could you raise another issue for adding a LICENSE file? 🙏

Yeah sure I can do that, but the maintainer hasn't actually replied to the original issue either. If they don't respond to the new issue with the LICENSE would we still be able to publish it in the marketplace ?

@sevetseh28 thanks for raising the issue.

If they don't respond to the new issue with the LICENSE would we still be able to publish it in the marketplace ?

Sadly not, it's the author's exclusive right to package and publish until there's a license indicating otherwise, since source code, even on GitHub, is by default subject to the author's copyright.
