Sometimes we want to be able to $filter on the complex fields not just the leaf fields within them for example checking if they are null. The recent change to the odata validation meant that these were getting rejected.

Sometimes we want to be able to $filter on the complex fields not just the leaf fields within them for example checking if they are null. The recent change to the odata validation meant that these were getting rejected.
