Hey, thanks for this. I only noticed that the value dashes is also relatively common, it seems to be used for bicycle crossings like this one. Is it correct that these should have been tagged using dots as the value instead?

I strongly believe that all bicycle crossings are indeed dots. I suppose the issue arises from the interpretation of what constitutes a dot and what constitutes a dash. I believe the mapping of dashes is incorrect, but OSM documentation does not state that clearly.

In Poland, there is a single way to mark cycle crossings, so either all of them should be dots, or all of them should be dashes. I believe the sooner.
