This is a follow up for #444 (comment)

We have E2E tests for upgrades for default behaviour, but we also want to test different states of feature gates on operator-controller.

Tests should include:

Upgrade tests with semver upgrade constraints
Upgrade tests with legacy OLMv0 upgrade constraints
