Automatic excalidraw exports not exporting transparent background

What is happening is when I publish a note which has obsidian excalidraw embeds, enveloppe uploads the svg with a background even though excalidraw is set to export with a transparent background. What is weird is I've been using this plugin and it has usually been exported with a transparent background, but now it refuses to do it. Changing the theme excalidraw exports in does work, but the background option does not anymore. Can anyone else reproduce this?
