Carrying email verification status from social signin is not working

Hello.

I am trying to automatically mark emails as verified when registered with oidc providers like google.

I followed Carry over verified status from Social Sign-In from the docs.

Now my json snippet looks like:

But the email is not verified after registration and I am sent a verification email.

Notes

1. I tried returning non-array value in verified_adresses. In the code it should throw error but nothing happens.
2. I ensured that email_verified is returned true from oidc provider.
3. I tried storing the verified_addresses in metadata_public to check its shape and it's 100% correct.

I was using kratos v1.0.0 while this feature seems to be in v1.1.0.

Upgrading kratos solved it.
