Welcome to the cybergear_adventures wiki!

This wiki (and repo) are to explore and document the Xiaomi Cybergear actuator.

This actuator consists of:

  • a bldc motor
  • planetary gears to reduce speed increase torque whilst being back drivable
  • a motor controller to power the bldc and provide comms
    • exposed CAN comm port
    • hidden SWD for programming
    • tricky UART Serial requires direct to mcu soldering
