A collection of DIY particle detector builds done by others on the Internet

(please send me a link to yours, or upload pictures yourself here :-)

December 2021, Jonathan from Shanghai (14 years old!) sent these pictures of his own build, measuring particle pulses using the WaveWatch oscilloscope:

In collaboration with the Fablab/maker space Oberlab, another COVID-compliant hands-on workshop took place in May 2021 in Gmund. In total 16 high-school students (age 16-17) built their own detector inside a tin box within the physics/technology lecture.

From 30.11 through 7.12.2020, 12 high-school students in Bonn built detectors together with their physics teacher.

From the Science Days Digital 2020 online workshop in collaboration with CERN and @FabLabMuc, pictures taken by @GigaBecquerel:

Steve and his son wrote a very detailed blog post about their experiences.
