It was a broken format string, which likely means that no-one has ever actually encountered it rendering in the wild.

Hm, or no one reported it. Note that pantsbuild/pants doesn't use codegen, and users are less likely to report things. Imo it's valuable to keep it

To allow workunit consumers to display rich information about results, we should include the addresses that the tools have operated on in their workunit
metadata.To do this, add support for initializing the
user_metadatafor a workunit withmetadatafrom itsEngineAwareParameter-typedParams, and then applymetadatato any types relevant tocheck/fmt/lint/test.[ci skip-rust]
