In think mcrypt is intentionally avoided on *nix is it not? |

This is probably the result of a documentation deficit. I'll add a comment explaining the rationale of why it's currently implemented the way it is. a3c71cc |

This check has been removed in v2.0.4 due to a bugfix for #111 |
