Similar to HHVM, we think django-workload should be removed, with the following reasons:

  • It provides too similar application as a social media, which is already covered by the Web Serving benchmark.
  • The Django version it uses is deprecated, and we think the maintanance effort is larger than building a new workload.

As a replacement, we may use a blog system, which contains the implementation of the backend using many programming languages.
