Welcome to Teams Video chat application

This is a video calling web application where users can call other user and will also have the capabiltiy to turn off their mic and video. There is also real time chat functionality.

How to start

1. Open the web application Vc-app
2. Sign in using your account , if you don't have any account sign up first (demo account : shaan@gmail.com , pswd : shaan )
3. Create a new room
4. Send roomId of the room from URL to your friend
5. Ask your friend to join the room using that roomId

How to run locally

1. Clone this repository git clone https://github.com/parteek10/MsTeamsClone.git
2. Move to root directory cd MsTeamsClone
3. run command npm install , make sure nodeJs is already installed
4. wait until step 3 completes
5. change directory to client cd client
6. run command npm install
7. change socket path in room.js file (line num : 34 )
8. change port number of peer in room/utils/index.js file (line num : 29 and 51 )

Note :

There is an error called "invalid frame header" on console of application , but it is not creating any issue in its functioning !!
