We'll discuss many of the aspects surrounding the topic of applicaiton modernization. In addition to lecture and discussion there will be a hands on lab to demonstrate the some of the topics presented.

All labs can be performed using only a browser that can reach the internet. All tasks are performed from the browser and no additional software is necessary.

lab 01 : Review legacy application MedSearch.

lab 02 : Re-Host (lift and shift) - Containerize the MedSearch application. This lab will containerize the applicaiton and deploy it to the cloud.

lab 03 : Re-Factor legacy applicaiton. Using a microservice enhance the applicaiton to provide new funcitonality.
