Breeze is the new artwork for Plasma 5. This repository contains the icon theme also called Breeze.
Icons are licensed under the LGPLv3
- Check LICENSE file inside the package for more information.
Icons are available to download directly from this repository. Simply clone it and move the resulting folder to the appropriate path.
- In a Terminal execute the following command:
git clone https://github.com/NitruxSA/breeze-icon-theme.git
Alternatively, click the Download ZIP button on the right area of this site. Or install the icon theme via your distribution repositories (there's the possibility that it isn't up-to-date).
- Move the folder(s) Breeze or Breeze Dark to
/usr/share/icons - And finally select it in System Settings.
- Add a description of the software, it's very important for us to know what the software does as we are not able to install every software under the sun and test them.
- Optionally create a thread in the VDG sub-forum here: https://forum.kde.org/viewforum.php?f=285 - there ideas can be discussed about the new icon.
- Due to the transition from KDE 4 to Plasma 5 some icons are currently being displayed where they shouldn't be. This will addressed in future iterations of the icon theme and releases of KDE apps.
- Be sure to be as thorough as possible when adding information to an issue.
- You're allowed (and welcomed) to contribute icons to the icon theme, however, make sure to read the wiki to get up and close with the design guidelines.
- When creating pull requests make sure that your local copy is up to date before pushing changes.
- Add a preview of the icon to the pull request, in the size of the icon and a zoomed version.
