Survival started as a project to simply fix some bugs with Dynamic Bulwarks for Arma 3. It, however, morphed into a far larger endeavor to do not only a complete rewrite but to upgrade many of the user-facing systems within it.
No addons/mods are required to play and/or edit the mission.
The mission works with any map, all that is required is to change the map name of the resulting PBO after packaging, e.g. change the Altis
here Arma3Survival.Altis.pbo
to Malden
(Arma3Survival.Malden.pbo
) if you want to play on Malden.
The project is still regularly looked at for improvements even if it appears inactive, this is simply due to more pressing matters at that time and/or temporary fatigue with the project. Forking is encouraged.
You can simply subscribe on the Steam workshop or download the latest release and place the .PBO file in your Arma 3 installation folder's MPMissions
folder (...\steamapps\common\Arma 3\MPMissions
).
- The easiest method is to clone the mission contents into one of your Arma 3 Mission editing folders which are by default in
C:\Users\%userprofile%\Documents\Arma 3\missions
orC:\Users\%userprofile%\Documents\Arma 3\mpmissions
. - Adjust the folder name to
Arma3Survival.Atlis
(or whatever legal name you choose so Arma can recognize it). - Open the mission in the editor and then go to
Scenario
->Export
->Export To Multiplayer
. - The PBO can be found in your Arma 3 installation folder's
MPMissions
folder (...\steamapps\common\Arma 3\MPMissions
).

- ACE3:
ACE is supported functionally. If it is loaded on the server and clients, certain aspects of the mission change such as the dragging and revive systems.
