I am a remote sensing professional, data scientist, and Hongkonger passionate about Earth Observation, Climate Risk, and Sustainability. Formerly a climate risk consultant at the World Bank Group, I worked on mapping heat hazards and vulnerabilities in Pakistan using satellite data. Currently, I am a geospatial data engineer working on accelerating nature-based solution projects.

My research interests include disaster risk and cryosphere dynamics. More specifically, I am interested in applying remote sensing, geospatial data, and machine learning to study how climate change impacts global communities in the present and future. 🛰️ The remote sensing data I have been using includes Landsat, MODIS, AVHRR, VIIRS, SRTM, GRACE, and Sentinel-1, 2, and 5, using mostly the following tools:

python R-programming matlab QGIS ArcGIS
