ALVR needs GPUs for encoding images.
Currently ALVR only supports NVENC and AMF VCE for encoding method.

Supported GPUs

NVIDIA

GTX 600, 700, 800, 900, 1000, RTX2000 series and newer
GT series are not supported

AMD

Radeon RX400, RX500 series and newer
Rx300 series only support resolution below 1920
(maybe)Rx200 and older are not supported
