Annoying alert

I am using a Mac Mini 1 (2020) Mac OS 12.2.1 and I am having trouble starting up qBittorrent v4.4.2 (64 Bit). I get an alert asking me to allow or not allow- "qBittorrent would like to access files on a removable volume." I often get the same message repeatedly

I have tried System Prefs -Privacy settings for qBittorrent - full disk Access & Files and Folders, restarting qbittorrent and the computer to no avail.

Thanks for the link, I tried codesign -s - --deep /Applications/qbittorrent.app and it worked after quitting qT twice.
