Hi,
After sending few messages successfully I get the following error message:
Your reply to the forum topic: "XXXX"
Could not be posted because it appears that you do not have the ability to post replies.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Any help would be highly appreciated.
Thanks,
Eyal

The problem may have to do with the fact that our CBOX is not installed at the root site but rather on a subsite. Sometimes the email message is sent correctly but it is has a completely wrong topic and the link in the email received from the system directs to a non existing blog that is supposed to be located at the root site - of course I get a 404 error when using the link.

Thanks,
Eyal

Seems that there was a conflict with two plugins:

  1. Bad Behavior - blocked replies after first successful message/s.
  2. Group Hierarchy - possibly caused email messages to be sent to the wrong address.

Afer removing both plugins I did not encounter a problem so far.

I just came across this problem again while doing some tests and I have a solution:

bbPress needs each user's forum role to be set in the database. When a user is logged in, their forum role is dynamically set, but never saved in the database.

For RBE, we need their forum role to be actually saved in the DB. I've written up a guide here:

Going to close this one.

Thank you very much Ray!

Sorry for my late response - I was away for a couple of days.
