GitHub remote record classes.
Add this to your application's Gemfile:
gem 'remote_record'
gem 'remote_record-github'
And then execute:
$ bundle install
Or install it yourself as:
$ gem install remote_record remote_record-github
Create an ActiveRecord model, then follow the RemoteRecord guide to configure it to use this RemoteRecord
class. If your model is called GitHub::UserReference
, it'll automatically infer that it should use RemoteRecord::GitHub::User
. Otherwise, you'll need to manually specify the klass
when configuring your remote reference.
After checking out the repo, run bin/setup
to install dependencies. Then, run bin/console
for an interactive prompt that will allow you to experiment.
To install this gem onto your local machine, run bundle exec rake install
. To release a new version, update the version number in version.rb
, and then run bundle exec rake release
, which will create a git tag for the version, push git commits and tags, and push the .gem
file to rubygems.org.
