Zotero does not close without of focus with Better BibTex enabled #2980
Comments
reproducible |
🤖 this is your friendly neighborhood build bot announcing test build 6.7.228.6968 ("fixes #2980") This update may name other issues, but the build just dropped here is for you; it just means problems already fixed in other issues have been folded into the work we are doing here. Install in Zotero by downloading test build 6.7.228.6968, opening the Zotero "Tools" menu, selecting "Add-ons", open the gear menu in the top right, and select "Install Add-on From File...". |
Yes, problem solved! Thank you very much! |
Thanks for the feedback! Just so you know, GitHub doesn't let me control who can close issues, and @retorquere likes to leave bug reports and enhancements open as a nudge to merge them into the next release. |

What happened?
I am using a Mac with macOS version 14.6.1, M1 processor, with Zotero 7.
When Better BibTex is enabled, Zotero does not exit if the main window is out of focus.
This happens if I try to exit by clicking on the dock icon or if I try to restart the computer without closing Zotero beforehand.
I was not able to generate the report, because Zotero can only be closed by forcing it and the report is lost.
